Virginia Ann Smith

Ginger Smith of Lake Forest Park passed away on Wed., July 16, 2014 at the age of 60. Ginger was born on Oct. 15, 1953 in Seattle, WA to Vernon and Mary Ann Smith. She was one of six children. Ginger graduated from Shorecrest High School. She worked for Frederick Nelson in Fine China until it was closed.She continued her working career at the Bon Marche and Linens n Things. She was a kind soul. She touched many lives with her dynamic personality, generosity, humor and delicious cooking. Ginger will be greatly missed by many, many friends and family.Ginger is survived by her partner of 16 years, Jimmy Nelson and his family; her siblings, Rosemary (Richard), Christine (Kenny), Lauralee (David), James (Robin), and Denice (Rodney); her many nieces, nephews and also her life-long friends, Molly and Francine.Memorial and Burial Service will be held on Mon., July 28, at 1:00 p.m. at Holyrood Cemetery, 205 NE 205th St., Shoreline, WA.
