Arline E. Wilson

"Belchertown - Arline E. (Hoitt) Wilson , 79, of Pine Valley Plantation passed away May 31, 2015. Born May 13, 1936 in Lynn, MA, she was the daughter of Leslie and Stella (Wojiechowski) Hoitt. Arline and her husband have lived in Belchertown for the past 21 years, previously longtime residents of South Hadley and Holyoke. For several years, Arline was a hairdresser. She then worked at Western Mass Elder Care for 35 years. After retiring, Arline went on to work for Chartwell Food Services at the Granby High School for 6 years. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Holyoke along with being a past worthy Matron of the Order of Easter Star. Arline will be dearly missed by her husband of 57 years, Kenneth S. along with her children, Cheryl and her husband John Keith of Westfield, Robin and her husband Dave Martins of Holyoke, Wendy and her husband Lionel Desforges of Chicopee, Karin and her husband Jeff Underwood of Springfield, and Kevin and his wife Grace Wilson of Lynn. She also is survived by 19 grandchildren, many great grandchildren along with her sister, Janice Cassidy, brother, James Hoitt, sister, Kathleen Hoitt and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story S.Hadley Funeral Home with a funeral service on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at a later date.
