Barbara A. Todd

"South Hadley, Barbara A. Todd, 79, died peacefully on Sunday, January 6 at Renaissance Manor with her loving family by her side. Born on April 29, 1933, she was the daughter of George and Dorothy (Eichstaedt) Lecour. She lived in Chicopee for many years before moving to South Hadley. During retirement she and her late husband, William, resided in Florida for many years. She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church, a member of tte South Hadley Senior Center and the Red Hats Society. She enjoyed needlepoint, walks on the beach and time with her family. She will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Kathleen Thibault (Robert) of S. Hadley, Dorothy Gronostalski (Ted) of Longmeadow and Cythina Todd and her partner, Armand Rozenberg, of Norwood, her daughter-in-law, Rebecca Todd of Suffield, Ct, along with her ten precious grandchildren, William, Daniel and Joseph Todd, Kristy and Tony Kirkpatrick, Lorraine, Alison and Teddy Gronostalski and Matthew and Angela Thibault. Her dear cousin, Carl Legrand and his wife Barbara of South Hadley also survive her. She was preceded in death by her husband, William in 2011 and her son, William in 1999. A Memorial Mass will be on Friday, January 11 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church. Burial will follow in Mass. Veterans' Memorial Cemetery.
