"Granby, Beth (Boileau) Barthlow, 49, passed away on Tuesday, May 29th at Cooley Dickinson Hospital after a three year courageous battle with cancer. Born in Holyoke on April, 14, 1969 she is the daughter of Donald and Noella (St. Sauveur) Boileau. She has resided in Granby most of her life and was a 1987 graduate of Granby High School and later obtained her Associates Degree from Bath Path College. She was a billing specialist for Chambers Advisory Group in Northampton for many years. Beth truly enjoyed being a mom to her two daughters as well as to their many friends. She will be long remembered for taking on the adventures in life and her beautiful smile. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 28 years, Brian Barthlow along with their two daughters, Brianna Claussell and her husband Ryan of South Hadley and Jenna of Granby. Her siblings, Donald Boileau Jr and his wife Dawn of South Hadley, Steven Boileau and his wife Susan of Mansfield, MA and Glenn Boileau and his wife Jennifer of Belchertown, brother in law, Grayson Barthlow of MD, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends survive her. She was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Vieu. Visitation will be on Friday, June 1st from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. at Beers and Story South Hadley Funeral Home, 646 Newton St. A celebration of life service will follow at 6:30 p.m. Burial will be private. Donations in her memory may be made to The Mass General Cancer Center at Cooley Dickinson Hospital, 30 Locust St., Northampton, MA 01060.
