Beverly J. Gordon

"Palmer, Beverly J. (Merrill) Gordon, 81, of Overlook Dr. died peacefully on Monday, February 11 following a brief illness. Born in Worcester, November 29, 1931, she was the daughter r of Frederick and Annie (MacQueen) Merrill. Beverly grew up in Worcester and has lived in Palmer for 55 years. She was a member of the Second Congregational Church and, indicative of her great love of music, was a former member of its choir. For 25 years, she worked for W.T. Grant Co. in Worcester and then in Palmer. She later worked at Sanderson MacLeod for 30 years before retiring. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 62 years, Harry B. Gordon, along with her 3 children, Clifford of S. Burlington, VT, Keith and his wife Jeanie of Three Rivers, and Sheila Fayle and her husband Stephen of Belchertown. She also leaves 3 grandsons, lovingly referred to as "her boys", Alexander, Geoffrey, and Christopher. A service to remember her life will be Monday, February 18 at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Please omit flowers and, for those wishing, to honor her love of animals, make donations in her memory to Northeast Animal League, 347 Highland Ave, Salem, MA 01970."
