Bonnie Prindle, aged 73, of Belchertown, MA, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 20, 1952, in Plymouth, MA, Bonnie moved to and lived in Belchertown for forty-five years.

The daughter of Bryce and Harriet Prindle, Bonnie grew up in both Plymouth and Sherborn, MA, spending summers in Pocasset, MA. She graduated from Dover- Sherborn Regional High School and later attained degrees from both New England College in Henniker, NH and the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA.

She was predeceased by her parents, her beloved husband Larry of 47 years, and her brother Peter. She is survived by her daughter, Julia and her husband Mark, her son Jack and his wife Cristina; as well as her four cherished grandchildren, Andrew, Samantha, Theodore and Sofia. She leaves behind her two sisters, Nancy and Sue.

She worked for the parking office at UMass for many years while devoting a significant amount of her time to raising her two children. Beyond work, Bonnie was an avid reader and volunteered for many years at the Clapp Memorial Library in Belchertown serving on the book sale committee. She also appreciated the peaceful calm of the outdoors and kept a colorful garden in Belchertown. She enjoyed going for walks in the Quabbin and spending summers in Pocasset. Regardless of where she was, she could be found photographing any wildlife or flower that she came across. Along with her late husband, she was a long-time member of the Belchertown United Church of Christ.

Bonnie was a gentle soul and had a strong desire for peace and comfort, a quality that lives on in her children and grandchildren. Bonnie’s family will hold private services.
