Brian Ivar Persson

Ludlow/Deerfield-Brian Ivar Persson, 30, passed away on December 18, 2022. Born in Springfield on August 1, 1992, he is the son of Richard and Janice (Pandoli) Persson of Ludlow. Brian grew up with his family in Ludlow and attended and graduated from Ludlow Schools. Since 2019, Brian has lived in Deerfield. He took pride in his work as a cook for over 10 years, most recently at the Stables in Hadley. Brian enjoyed weightlifting and working with his hands in various capacities like woodworking, drawing and mechanics. He also loved time spent outdoors, whether it was hiking, skateboarding, biking, canoeing, fishing, hunting or riding his motorcycle. Aside from his hobbies, Brian loved his dogs Holly and Cora and spending time with his family, especially their vacations in Rhode Island. Brian's memory will be cherished by his parents, Rich and Janice, along with his sisters, Kristina Unsderfer and her husband, Kyle of Belchertown, and Andrea Schrader and her husband, Sam of Westfield. He was a loving uncle to Kennedy and Karoline Unsderfer. Brian's fiancée, Stephanie Scott and her son Nicholas Nalepinski will always remember the love and life they shared. Brian also leaves his grandmother, Joanne (Curley) Pandoli and his grandfather, Richard D. Persson both of Springfield and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Audrey (Murphy) Persson. A visitation will be held Friday, January 6 at 1:30- 3:30 PM at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home with a service to conclude at 3:30 PM.
