Bruce L. Leboeuf
Apr 3, 1954 — Jan 30, 2026
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Bruce L. LeBoeuf, who departed this life on January 30, 2026, at the age of 71 after a short illness. Born on April 3, 1954, in Stafford, Connecticut, Bruce was raised in East Springfield. He moved to Belchertown to be closer to family in 2023.
He was the son of the late Frances (Krason) LeBoeuf. He leaves behind his sister Theresa Becker and her husband Stephen of Belchertown, as well as his two nephews Andrew Becker and Daniel Becker and Dan's girlfriend Ashley McNamara. He also leaves behind numerous cousins.
Bruce lived in Peterborough NH for many years working at Brookstone Corporation. In his forties Bruce pursued his education at Springfield Technical Community College. He earned an associates degree in landscape design and met his close group of friends.
Bruce was a simple man with a free spirit. He had a love for the outdoors, which was evident in his passion for gardening, fishing, hiking and camping. He cherished every opportunity to sit by the fire, enjoying nature's embrace. He played an active role in his family’s lives, from attending his nephews' soccer games when they were younger to valued moments spent with loved ones playing cards, watching football games (especially the Patriots) and celebrating holidays.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 20th from 10 AM to 12 PM, followed by a memorial service at Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home, where family and friends will gather to celebrate Bruce's life. His burial will take place privately in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Appalachian Mountain Club or that you consider planting a tree in Bruce's memory, honoring his love for nature.
Bruce L. LeBoeuf will be missed dearly but forever remembered for his gentle spirit, love of life, and the countless lives he touched along his journey.
