Carole A. Landry

" South Hadley, Carole A. (Boucher) Landry, 59, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 13, 2006. Born in Holyoke, MA on April 28, 1946 she has been a lifelong resident of South Hadley. She is the daughter of Doris (Biladeau)Boucher of S. Hadley and the late Fernand Boucher. Carole taught computer technology at Hampshire Regional High School in Westhampton for 27 years. She was a cheerleader coach for S. Hadley High School for 17 years. Carole taught round dancing for 20 years in Chicopee for Heavenly Rounds and did cueing for many clubs throughout New England, she also enjoyed square dancing and was the programmer in 1991 and 2006 for the New England Square and Round Dancing Convention in Springfield. Her greatest passions were teaching others and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 40 years Joseph Landry. She leaves her four children Kimberly Schwalm of S. Hadley, Andrea Lacey of Virginia Beach, VA, Natalie Levreault of S. Hadley and Christopher Landry of Waterford, CT. Carole also leaves four grandchildren Danielle, Corey, Gabrielle and Sarah. She was predeceased by her brother Gary Boucher in 1978. A funeral service will be Friday at 12:00 pm at the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home, 646 Newton St.(Rt116) followed by burial in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday from 5:00-8:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Carole Landry Scholarship Fund at Hampshire Regional High School, 19 Stage Rd., Westhampton, MA 01027. "
