Carolyn S. Sheehan

"Palmer - Carolyn S. (Fraska) Sheehan, 64, died on September 19, 2010 at Redstone Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in East Longmeadow. She was born August 1, 1946 in Tampa, FL, daughter of Chester and Mary (Barefield) Fraska. Carolyn has lived in the Thorndike section of Palmer since 1999 and previously resided in Springfield. Carolyn worked as a unit secretary at Baystate for 22 years. She was previously a member at Christian Life Center and was a Sunday School Teacher. Carolyn enjoyed reading shopping and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be missed by her children, Brenda Melnick of Thorndike, Brad Sheehan of Springfield, Bruce Sheehan of Feeding Hills, and Brian Sheehan of Granby along with 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She also leaves siblings Gary Fraska of Springfield and Richard Fraska. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. Services will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home with burial to follow in Hillcrest Park Cemetery in Springfield.
