Charlcia Fisher

"Wales - Charlcia (Smith) Fisher, 73, of Main St. died on August 2, 2014. Born July 1, 1941 in Odessa, TX, she was the daughter of Morris and Mildred (Frazer) Smith. Charlcia worked at various places including The Growing Place Greenhouse and Walmart in the Optical Department. She was also a member of the school committee in Wales 15 yrs, and on the Chapter 1 Parent Advisory Board and chairman for many years. She loved flowers and working in her garden. Her creativity extended to writing and painting. She was currently working on a novel about her mother. Charlcia will be greatly missed by all of her family, both biological and adopted. Her love remains with her daughter, Krystin Fisher and her fiancé Jeff Puckett of W.Brookfield along with adopted son, David Stone of Wilbraham, and her brother, Jimmie Smith of Dallas, TX. She also leaves grandchildren, Maria, Thomas, Austin, Nathan Puckett, Tia Renaud and her husband Justin along with great grandchildren, Jackson and Jarrod Renaud. Her adopted family also remembers the love she shared with them as adopted sister, Betty-Ann Wright of TX, Diane Fleury of VA, brother, Robert Stone of VA and many adopted grandchildren and great grandchildren who lovingly called her Grand Mama along with countless nieces and nephews. Charlcia was predeceased by her husband Thomas Fisher, Jr. in 1998, her daughter Beth, son Thomas J. III, daughter Charlcia along with her adopted mother, "Toto" Ida Stone, and adopted father, "Big Daddy", Gordon Stone. She was also predeceased by her brother Morris Smith, Jr., and sisters Doris Foote and Emily Bius. The number of lives she touched and people she loved is truly immeasurable. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. A graveside service will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Wales #4 Cemetery.
