Charles J. Lydon, Jr.

Charles Lydon, Jr. passed away peacefully the morning of July 28, 2026. He was born October 4, 1969, to Charles and Elaine Lydon. Most of his life he grew up in Belchertown, MA with his parents and his younger sister Dawn. Throughout his life he worked as a cook, lumberjack, policeman and for 30+ years he was a licensed plumber and an Army Reservist. He always had lots of fun because he was a lot of fun! He was proud of being in the Army, was an active Knight of Columbus member, he loved snowmobiling in Canada, golfing, and being with family and friends. He always surrounded himself with new and old friends. He had the ability to make a person feel special. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Hannah Lydon and their children Cuinn, Shea, Fionn, and Isabelle Lydon. He also leaves his sister Dawn Mckeone (Erik Mckeone) and their daughter Olivia and Dawn’s sons with Frank Nunes and their sons Brian, Kyle, and Cody Nunes. Chucky will be greatly missed. Calling hours will be held on Thursday Aug. 6th from 10:00am-12:00 pm at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home followed by a service of remembrance at 12:00 pm. Burial will take place in South Cemetery in Belchertown at the conclusion of the service.
