Clara Kulpa

"Wilbraham - Clara ( Tarasenko) Kulpa, 86, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 10, 2014 at Lifecare Center of Wilbraham, joining her beloved husband Stanley and family in Heaven. She was born January 12, 1928 in Ukraine, daughter of the late Ivan and Vera (Leono) Tarasenko. Clara came to the United States in 1948. Clara retired from Maryniski florist and then went on to be a seamstress at Monson Developmental Center. She was a devoted member of St. Cecilia's Church and Divine Mercy Parish. The passions in Clara's life were her family, friends, bingo, quilting, and chocolate. Surviving are daughters, Lorraine DiNuovo and husband John of Palmer and Maria Welsh and husband Terry of Wilbraham. She also leaves eight grandchildren, Sara, Adam, Kate, Seth, Emily, Meghan, Kaitlin, and Kevin, and three great-grandchildren, William, Brooklyn, and Brody. Clara was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley E. Kulpa, and family in Ukraine. The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at the Lifecare Center of Wilbraham. A Funeral Mass will be Friday at 11:00 a.m in St. Cecilia's Church in Wilbraham. A calling hour will be from 9:30 a.m. till 10:30 a.m. at Beers and Story Palmer Funeral Home. Burial will be held in the springtime. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lifecare Center of Wilbraham Activity Room, 2399 Boston Rd., Wilbraham, MA 01095."
