Conrad Robert Mish

"South Hadley, Conrad R. Mish, 60, died suddenly, following a brief illness, on Friday, September 25, 2015, with his family by his side. Born in Chicago, IL, November 11, 1954, he was the son of Joseph C. and Sophie H. (Niemiec) Mish. He grew up in Hadley, and has lived in S. Hadley for 30 years. He worked for Fed EX for 30 years as a customer service agent but was a farmer at heart. He grew up on the farm and loved tending to his garden. He had recently become very involved in the custom of EARTHING, a process of grounding oneself to the earth and the benefit it brings. He was also a lover of music, playing in a rock band in his youth, playing the accordion, and had a special affinity to the music of the Beatles. Previously he worked as an EMT. The family has special memories of vacations at The Cove in Yarmouth and Rhode Island. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 32 years, Lisa (Vega), along with his 5 children, Michael C. and Connie of Marlboro, Matthew J. and Abby, Nicholas W. Kaleigh A. Magri and John Jr. and Nathaniel M. all of South Hadley. He also leaves his 7 precious grandchildren, Ryan, Kami, Austin and Remy Mish, and Myla, Hayden and Emilia Magri. Additionally his 3 siblings Lisa Gustafson of Belchertown, Thaddeus Mish of S. Hadley, and Marianne Noonan of Hadley survive him along with 6 nieces and nephews. He will be also be remembered and missed by his many friends at FedEX. Calling hours will be Sunday, September 27 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the Beers & story S. Hadley Funeral Home, 646 Newton St., (Rte 116). A service to remember his life will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The family requests that donations be made in his memory to an organization supporting Suicide Prevention as he was deeply affected by many recent deaths of friends due to suicide. "
