Cynthia R. Desroches

"South Hadley, Cynthia R. (Harris) Desroches, 79, died on Friday, February 8, 2019 at Wingate at South Hadley. Born in Holyoke she was the daughter of Norman and Mary (Stevenson) Harris. She was employed at the University of Massachusetts for many years before her retirement. Cindy greatest love and passion was time with her family. She will be deeply missed by her five children, Craig of Palmer, John and his companion Lori of Holyoke, David and his wife Jessica of Ware, Melanie Grechel and her husband Stephen of Belchertown and Michael of Brimfield along with her five precious grandchildren and three great grandchildren and her brother, Walter Harris (Maureen) of PA. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Nancy Barrington. A celebration of Cindy's life will be on Wednesday, February 13th at 6:30 pm at Beers and Story Belchertown Funeral Home, 10 Maple St. Calling hours will be from 4:00 to 6:30 pm. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Childrens' Research Hospital at www.stjude.org."
