" Springfield, Danibel Garcia, 23 of Lexington St. died May 14, 2003 as a result of an automobile accident in NY City. Born in Bronx,NY, Nov. 7, 1979, she is the daughter of Daniel Garcia of Bronx, NY and Elsa (Torres) Fernandez. of Springfield. She lived in Holyoke before moving to Springfield, where she lived for most of her life. Danibel graduated from Commerce High School in 1997. She worked as a case manager at New North Citizen Council in Springfield for a year. Besides her parents, she is survived by 4 sisters, Jeannie Garcia, Jasenia Garcia, Elisa Soto all of Springfield, and Danilka Garcia of Rhode Island, as well as two brothers, Benjamin Soto, Jr. and Daniel Garcia, Jr. both of Springfield. She also leaves a maternal grandmother Doris Hernandez of Puerto Rico and her boyfriend, Germain Almeida with whom she lived. A funeral service will be held Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the Iglesia Biblica Bautista, 375 South Elm St., Holyoke followed by burial in Oak Knoll Cemetery in Palmer. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 4-8 p.m. at the BEERS & STORY PALMER FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Main St., Palmer, MA. Donations may be made in her memory to Iglesia Biblica Bautista, 375 S. Elm St., Holyoke, MA. "
