Daniel A. Gagne

"Daniel Antoine Gagne died as a result of a tragic motorcycle accident on Monday, August 2, 2010 at the young age of 32. He was born at Baystate Medical Hospital in Springfield on September 12, 1977. He was the son of June (Cooley) and Harley Richards of Warren and the late David Gagne. Dan will be well remembered for his loving, playful spirit and for always taking the time to remind us that their still is a child in all of us! He truly enjoyed every moment of his life with his wife, family and friends. Dan took pleasure in playing, creating, and building things with his Lego's, tinkering with cars and motorcycles, and he always had time to enjoy the company of others, especially when it involved helping others with their projects. He will be deeply missed by his best friend, soul mate, and wife, Nichol (Fish) Gagne, along with all of his siblings; Jennifer, Tiffany, Angela, Darlene, Doreen, Ricky, Tammy, Harley Jr., and Michelle. He also leaves his wife's family; Arthur and Debra Fish, their children, Arthur III, Heather, and grandmother Linda Fish. His nieces and nephews, Kimberlee, Bryan, Christopher, Marilyn, Harley, Andrew, Tristan, Wesley, Jacob, Trinity, Calista, Joshua, and Jeremy will miss his presence in their lives. His extended family Doug, Amanda, their son Vinny, Josh, John, and many other close friends also survive him. Calling hours will be on Friday, August 6th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Funeral Home located at 10 Maple Street, (Rte. 202) in Belchertown. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Saturday, August 7th at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Francis Church at 10:00 a.m. located on Jabish Street also in Belchertown. The family asks that any monetary donations be made in his memory to Nichol Gagne, 42 Granby Rd., Belchertown, MA 01007, to help relieve some of the encumbering finances that occur with such an untimely death.
