Doris F. Ellithorpe

"Palmer-Doris F. (Tremblay) Ellithorpe, 94, passed away April 4, 2019 at home. She was born November 21, 1924 in Palmer, daughter of Oscar J. and Maria Tremblay. Doris raised her family in Three Rivers and also lived in Brimfield. For the past few years, she has lived in Ware with her son, Robert and his wife Denise. Doris has had various jobs throughout the years including being a hairdresser in Three Rivers. She was a communicant of the former St. Anne's Church. Doris enjoyed being outside and going for walks. Playing bingo, doing puzzles, and knitting were also pastimes of Doris. Her greatest treasure was spending time with her family. In 1998, she was predeceased by her husband, Clifford "Mickey" and will be dearly missed by her two sons, Ronald and his wife Pam of Brimfield, and Robert and his wife Denise of Ware. Doris also leaves her 2 sisters, Theresa Prosperi and Laurette Wrubel both of Palmer along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Visitation will be Monday, April 8th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Divnie Mercy Parish followed by burial in St. Anne's Cemetery. Donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society."
