Dorothy Julia Tougas

"Dorothy J. (Lamb) Tougas, 71, died Wednesday, August 13 after a long illness. Born in New Haven, CT, June 18, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Robert Leroy and Lillian (Raymond) Lamb and lived in Charlton for 40 years before relocating to Warren 6 years ago. She worked for Stevens Linen in Dudley as the plant manager before her retirement. She is survived by a son, John, 2 granddaughters Brittany of Palmer, and Ava of Southbridge, 2 sisters Madelaine Knapp of Ware and Jeanette Johnson of Warren along with many other loving family members. She also leaves her former husband, Ronald Tougas of Northbridge. Besides her parents, 4 brothers Arthur, Raymond, Richard and Robert preceded her in death. A calling hour will be Wednesday, August 20 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N. Main St., (Rte. 20) followed by a service of committal at 11:30 a.m.in Bethany Cemetery, Monson.
