Elizabeth S. Pelott

"Belchertown, Elizabeth S. Pelott, 70, died Thursday, April 30 at home. She was born in New York City on March 25, 1939 and was the daughter of the late Charles and Christine (Gabel) Sienkiewicz. She grew up in Northampton and lived in Woodbridge, VA for many years before relocating to Belchertown in 2005. Elizabeth obtained her Doctorate in Behavioral Psychology and was employed as VP of Behavioral Counseling by New Options Group in Fairfax, VA, retiring in 2004. She was a communicant of St. Francis Church and in her leisure she and her husband enjoyed traveling throughout New England. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Robert of Blechertown, and her son Douglas of Folsom, CA, along with her two grandchildren. Her sisters, Roberta Reardon of Whately and Lillian Worth and her husband John of Fairfax, VA along with her three brothers, Frank Sienkiewicz of Florence and Peter and Maureen Sienkiewicz of Florence and Edward and Kay Sienkiewicz of Buckhannon, WV also survive her. She was predeceased by siblings, Walter, Charles, Raymond, William, Ronald and Judith. All services are private and Beers and Story Belchertown Funeral Home have been entrusted with arrangements.
