Emily T. Sinkoski

"Belchertown-Emily T. (Dranka) Sinkoski, 85, of N.Washington St., passed away February 22, 2008 at Wing Memorial Hospital. Born June 19, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Catherine (Szeliga) Dranka. Emily has lived in Belchertown for the past 20 years, previously residing in Ware. She graduated from Palmer High School and retired from Ware Public Schools, where she worked for many years in the cafeterias. She was previously a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Women's Club and currently a member of St. Francis Church. She gave all of her love to her daughter Susan M. Scott and her husband James L. with whom she lived. She also will be greatly missed by her sister Mary Dranka Salamon and her brother Eugene Dranka, both of Thorndike along with many nieces and nephews. Emily was predeceased by her husband Francis R. in 1984 and her sister Frances Dranka Godek in 2007. A mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis Church followed by burial in New St. William's Cemetery in Ware. Visitation will precede the mass from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home.
