Ethan Nesai Freeman

Ethan Freeman passed away on March 3 at the age of 23. He had a long and courageous battle with mental illness. He was the beloved son of Chakrya Khath and a stepson of Brian Vadella. He is survived by an older brother, Joseph Freeman, and a younger sister, Stella Noeun, whom he adored to the moon and back. The true love of his life was Kayla Strout. He also loved their precious dog Rocco. He was raised in Amherst and moved to Belchertown when he was 13. He graduated from both Belchertown High School and Valley West School in Chicopee. He loved the outdoors: a survivalist at heart. He was a caring, charming, goofy, smart, thoughtful person. He was an epitome of a gentleman. He enjoyed foods, especially if it was smothered in barbecue sauce. Last but not least, he was a self- proclaimed Mama's boy. He was a natural born protector, a 'papa bear'. Ethan lived his best life. He is at peace. He will always be loved and remembered with all the broken pieces of his mother's heart. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Please wear something red. It was his happy color.
