"Wilbraham- Ethel L. Peterson, 78, a longtime resident of Hampden, died Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at Wingate of Wilbraham. Born September 24, 1927 in Hampden, MA, she was predeceased by her parents Arthur W. and Hazel (Ricard) Peterson and her brother Arthur W. Peterson, Jr. Ethel is survived by three children Frederic S. Leary of Wilbraham, Jo-Anne Marshall and her husband Charlie of Dallas, TX and Susanne Shults and her husband Rick of Wilbraham. She also leaves a brother Robert Peterson of Colorado, two sisters Nancy Johnston and her husband James of Stafford Springs, CT and Mary Elizabeth Bunten and her husband Lloyd of New Canaan, NH, five grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Calling hours will be Thursday from 6:00-8:00pm at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. A private burial will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery in Hampden. Donations may be made in her memory to the American Stroke Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701-4688. "
