"Francis L. "Ozzie" Wozniakowski, 78, of the Bondsville section of Palmer, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 24 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Born in Palmer, January 30, 1937, he was the son of Chester and Margaret (Serwa) Wozniakowski. He grew up and has lived in the Three Rivers and Palmer area all of his life. A proud American, he served his country in the United States Army. He spent most of his working career at the Bulk Mail Center of the US Post Office in Springfield, retiring as Maintenance Supervisor. An avid outdoorsman and handyman, he enjoyed many years at his home in Vermont. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 51 years, Patricia (Kozlik), and his children Lynne Rahim and her husband Irfan of Holliston, and Scott Wozniakowski of Nashua, NH. He also leaves his 4 precious grandchildren, Sophia and Isabela Rahim, and Sam and Anna Wozniakowski. He also leaves beloved nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Calling hours are Monday, March 2 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N. Main St, (rte. 20). A Funeral Mass will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Divine Mercy Church, 2267 Main Street, Three Rivers. Friends may gather at the funeral home for 9:00 a.m. or meet directly at church. Burial will be in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery in the spring. For those wishing, donations may be made in his memory to American Heart Association. "
