George Kuczma

"George Kuczma, Jr., 49, formerly of Belchertown, died June 9 at Sunbridge of Hadley Nursing Home. Born in Northampton, January 27, 1955, he was the son of the late George, Sr. and Grace (Gallagher) Kuczma. George lived briefly in Pelham, and spent most of his life in Belchertown, graduating from its High School. He worked at the former Belchertown State School, and most recently in direct care in a private group home. He was a member of the Belchertown Lions Club and loved the Red Sox, Celtics, and Patriots. He is survived by a brother David of Turners Falls, and a sister Brenda McMenamin of Belchertown, along with his nephew Daniel McMenamin of Belchertown. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 12 at the Beers and Story Belchertown Funeral Home, 10 Maple St, (Rte 202) followed by burial in West Cemetery, Shutesbury. Calling hours are Friday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Donations may be made in his memory to the Belchertown Lions Club."
