Gerald R. Fontaine

"Gerald R. Fontaine, 59 , of Federal St, died on June 21, 2012. He was born June 30, 1952 in Springfield, son of the late Normand and Jessie(Rodenhi) Fontaine. He has lived in Belchertown for 30 years and was employed in the Engineering Dept. @ Wing Memorial Hospital. He was a member of the Chicopee and Norwottuck Fish and Game Clubs and was NRA certified as a Safety Gun Instructor. Jerry loved to spend time at the Quabbin Reservoir pursuing his photography hobby. He enjoyed the beauty and solace he found there. He is survived by sisters Frances Miffitt of Longmeadow and Ruth Fontaine of California. He will be missed by his niece Kate Miffitt and her daughter Grace of Texas and nephew Chris Miffitt, wife Erin and their son Noah of West Virginia. A Memorial Service will be held at Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home on July 21, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. A calling hour will preced the service from 2:00-3:00 pm.
