"Belchertown, Helen M. (Baril) Plant, 82, former long time resident of Belchertown, died peacefully on Friday, May 14 at Linda Manor Nursing Home in Leeds. Born in Lynn, January 30, 1928, she was the daughter of George and Marion (Atkins) Baril. She was a graduate of Belchertown High School and attended Hope United Methodist Church. Her husband Everett W. Plant preceded her in death. She will be missed by her loving children Bill Plant of Terlingua, TX and her daughter Lorraine Southwick of Belchertown. She also leaves her precious grandchildren, Dean Southwick and Angelique Clark, along with great grandchildren, Sophie and Joshua. For those wishing, please make donations in her memory to the church, Main St., Belchertown, 01007. At her request, all services are private and have been entrusted to the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home. "
