Janet J. Dozier

"Janet Joyce (Albritton) Dozier, age 81, passed away February 7, 2012 from the complications of heart disease. For the past three and a half years, Janet and her faithful companion, Happy Good Dog, resided in South Hadley, Massachusetts, finding love and joy with the members of her daughter's family, Cynthia, Paul, Ben and Peter Lambert. A native Texan, Janet was a 1963 magna cum laude graduate of Baylor University, a Baylor Beauty of 1949, a 1948 graduate of Waco High School, a member of Austin Avenue Methodist Church and the Waco Historical Society. Janet was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, William J. (Buzz) Dozier III, her son, William J. (Buzzy) Dozier IV, and her parents, William T. and Hertha Albritton. A private graveside service is pending. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in her name, to your local chapter of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
