Jeanne E. Driscoll

" Jeanne E. (Wright) Driscoll, 53, of Pittroff Ave, died Friday at home. Born in Oneonta, NY, October 13, 1948, she was the daughter of Willard Wright of Brandon, VT and the late Dorothy (Faulkner) Wright. She moved to South Hadley many years ago and was a graduate of South Hadley High School. Jeanne worked for 20 years at the former Community Savings Bank in Holyoke in the loan collection department. She had worked for the past 5 years as the office manager at Chapdelaine Home Furnishings in South Hadley. Jeanne loved to knit and crochet and made many hand made afghans and baby blankets for her family and friends. She also loved her yard and garden, as well as traveling. Jeanne had a special love for all kinds of animals and often provided homes for strays. She maintained many friendships and will be greatly missed by many. Besides her father, Jeanne is survived by a son Timothy J. Driscoll and Andrea J. Driscoll both of S. Hadley, a sister Teresa and her husband Edward Sylvia of Milford, CT. She also leaves a niece Shelley and her husband Mark Tomey, a nephew Edward Sylvia and a grand niece Schuyler Tomey all of CT, along with 2 close cousins, Deborah Atchinson and Andrea Reubens. Funeral services will be Tuesday morning in the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home. Burial will be at 2:30 in Maple Grove Cemetery in Worcester, New York. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Monday from 2:00—4:00 & 7:00—9:00 p.m. At the family’s request, please make donations in her memory to Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Western New England, 50 Maple St, P.O.
