Jeannette M Rossi

Jeannette M. (Brodeur) Rossi passed away June 11, 2026, with the love of family members by her side. Born January 13, 1935 in South Deerfield, MA, she was the daughter of George and Helen (Sagon) Brodeur.

Jeannette grew up in Northampton and attended school there. After graduation from high school, she worked at the Forbes Library in Northampton for several years.

Jeannette was an avid reader and enjoyed watching the birds from her back deck. Her favorites were the hummingbirds and the bluebirds. She was lovingly known for making the best apple pies.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Anthony Rossi; her life-long friend and traveling companion, Shirley LaRose; and her brother, George Brodeur.

Jeannette will be sadly missed and long remembered by her children, Dianne Rossi Anastasi and her husband Ken Anastasi, and Michael A. Rossi and his wife Kathy Marshall Rossi; her step-grandson, Daniel Marshall Cronin and his wife Kate Stoica; as well as several nieces and nephews, and her sisters-in-law who were also her close friends, Sandra Rossi, Rosemary Gorman and Marsha Shumway.

Services are being held privately for Jeannette's family.
