Jeannette L. Santos

"Palmer - Jeannette L. (Vertefeuille) Santos , 82, passed away peacefully in her home on November 21, 2013. Born on January 13, 1931 in Palmer, MA, she was the daughter of Armand Vertefeuille and Lillian (Rivers). She was a lifelong resident of Palmer and communicant of the former St. Anne's Church. Jeannette worked for Tambrands for 30 years and retired in 1993. She lived a rich life surrounded by family, friends and her lifelong love of 61 years, Walter Santos. Those who knew Jeannette remember her most for her beauty and grace, her delightful wit, abundance of stories, and most importantly her dedication to her family. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Walter, along with her 5 children, Maureen Gallagher and husband William, Suzanne Moskal and husband Edward, Janine LeBlanc and husband Michael, Carl Santos and wife Robin, Michelle Siddle and husband Timothy. Her love will also remain with her grandchildren, Jessica Noonan and her husband Edward (Ted), Jennifer Moskal, Jeffrey Main, Jamie Latozke, Jacquelyn Siddle, Timothy Siddle, Kaitlyn Santos, Connor Santos, along with 2 great grandchildren, Brady and Dillon Noonan. Jeannette also leaves her sister, Lucille Boudreau, and was predeceased by siblings Alice Giordano and Richard Vertefeuille. Visitation will be Monday from 4-7 PM at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. Friends and family may either gather at 9 AM at the funeral home on Tuesday or meet directly at Divine Mercy Parish for a 10 AM Funeral Mass. Burial will follow in St. Anne's Cemetery.
