"Chicopee -Keith W. McHaffie , 51, of Keddy Blvd died on November 1, 2012 at his home with his family by his side. Born March 9, 1961 in Ware, MA, he is the son of Eleanor (McGinnis) Green of Ludlow and William J. McHaffie of Green Valley, AZ. Keith has lived in Chicopee for the past 10 years. Keith was Past Master and current Secretary of the Vernon Masonic Lodge in Belchertown and also a member of Brigham Masonic Lodge in Ludlow as well as a member of the Melha Shrine Center. Keith was formerly Vice Principal of Greenfield High School and West Boylston High School. He was a former member at Belchertown United Church of Christ and currently a member at First Church in Ludlow. Keith will be greatly missed by his parents along with his siblings Lucinda "Cindy" Fuller of Belchertown, Dorothy Green of Brockton, Max Bock of Belchertown, MA, Heather Tucker of Ludlow, and Patricia Wichner of Chicago, IL. He also leaves friends Brian and Zachary Shaw, and Jason Cruz, as well as his dog Caleb and many nieces and nephews and extended family. A memorial service and Evergreen service will be held Wednesday Nov. 14th at 6:00 p.m. at the Belchertown United Church of Christ on Park St. Military honors will be rendered at the conclusion of the services. Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Keith's memory to Shriner's Hospitals for Children, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104. "
