Lawrence A. Kozlik

"Bondsville - Lawrence A. "Butch" Kozlik, 79, died on March 29, 2019 at his home surrounded by the love and care of his family. Born in Palmer, March 23, 1940, he was the son of Lawrence J. and Stephanie J. (Stolarz) Kozlik. He was a life long resident of Bondsville and a communicant of Divine Mercy Parish. He was a member of St. Mary's Lyceum for many years and a volunteer for Bondsville Fire Department. Butch was an operating engineer for Local #98 for 39 years before retiring and was an avid Red Sox fan. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 60 years Marion (Vadnais), along with his 6 devoted children, Kenneth and his wife Cheryl of Belchertown, Anthony and his wife Jacqueline of Ware, Charlene Czaja and her husband John of Palmer, David and his wife Pamela of Ware, Jeffrey and his wife Danna of San Diego, CA, and Christopher and his wife Karen of Three Rivers. He was loved by his 16 precious grandchildren, Melinda, Jenifer, Matthew, Amanda, Shannah, Heidi, Nicholas, Julia, Adam, Emily, Zachary, Ian, Jared, Alexis, Cody and Stephanie. He is also survived by his sister Patricia Wozniakowski and brother Mark Kozlik, both of Bondsville. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his precious grandson Jared Kozlik in 2018 and his sister Christine. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 4 at 9:00 a.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home followed by a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Divine Mercy Church. Burial will follow in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N. Main ST. (Rte 20). For those wishing to honor his memory, donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or St. Jude Children's Hospital or USO."
