Lucille Anne Albert

"Lucille Anne (Morin) Albert, 86, passed from this life on June 25, 2011 at home surrounded by her family. Anne was the daughter of Alfred (Jean) Morin and Doris (LaCasse) Morin. She is predeceased by her older brother Robert Morin and her beloved eldest daughter Joanne E. (Albert) Rowland. Anne was born on May 29th, 1925 in Springfield, Mass. She attended local schools and resided for many years with her loving husband, Aldore, until retiring in Belchertown MA. Her memories and stories about her life were filled with anecdotes about growing up during the Depression. She is survived by her younger brother Donald Morin and his wife Carol Morin of Florida and her dear sister-in-law Yvette (Albert) Damoulakis of Wilbraham, MA. Anne met the love of her life, Aldore, when she had a job serving ice cream. Their romance grew through their letters to one another during WWII, and they married on October 7, 1946. Throughout her 64 years of married life she raised six children, instilling her values and traditions. Anne was a devout Catholic. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church in Springfield and later St. Francis of Assisi in Belchertown. She was active in both parishes as a Eucharistic minister and Adorational Devotions. Anne retired from working in the Springfield School system. During her retirement she and her husband traveled, joined dance groups and were continually active in numerous social events. She will be remembered as a wonderful mother, stressing the importance responsibility and love to her family. Anne is survived by her husband Aldore A. Albert of Belchertown. Her eldest daughter's husband, Daniel Rowland of Monson, Ma. and granddaughters, Rebecca (Rowland) Bell and her husband Kevin Bell, Sarah Rowland and great-grandaughter Anne Elizabeth. Her only son, Michael J. Albert of Belchertown and granddaughters, Renee Albert and Lauren M. Albert. Her daughter, Mary F. Albert and husband Robert R. Gardner of Florence, Ma and granddaughters Lillian E. Albert-Gardner and her husband Tudor A. Protopropescu and Grace M. Albert-Gardner. Her daughter, Sandra J.(Albert) Zwirn and her husband Robert Zwirn of Berwick, Maine and her grandchildren, Erin J. Zwirn, Abe A. Zwirn and Jessica (Zwirn) Higgins and her husband Brian Higgins. Her daughter Karen A. (Albert) Winkler and her husband Eugene Winkler of Springfield, MA, and granddaughters, Meghan R. Winkler and her husband Ricky Trentini and Rachel A.Winkler. Her youngest daughter Susan L. (Albert) Amaral and her husband Anselmo C. Amaral of Ludlow Ma. and grandchildren Alexander M. Amaral and Laura M. Amaral. She will be missed. Visitation will be held Tuesday June 28th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home. Friends and family may gather between 9-9:15 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home to process to St. Francis Church for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Liturgy.
