"Ludlow - Lucille E. (Beauchemin) Lapointe, 93, passed peacefully into the arms of our Lord surrounded by her loving family on September 10, 2019. She was born January 25, 1926 to the late Eugene and Blanche (Boudreau) Beauchemin in Chicopee, where she lived most of her life. She will be lovingly remembered by her five children, Paul Lapointe and his wife Kathy, Trisha Lapointe, Jean Rogers and her husband Paul, Susan Rogers, George Lapointe, Jr and his wife Debra. She will be forever remembered by her grandchildren, Paul Jr., Matthew, Carrie-Ann, Katie, Thom, Eric, Kyle, Sara, Allison and Christopher. She is the beloved great grandmother to eight. She will be missed and remembered by her caregiver Kenneth Rogers. Calling hours will be Thursday, September 19, 2019 from 4:00-6:00 pm at the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home, 646 Newton St. Relatives and friends may join the family at the funeral home on Friday for 9:00am to follow to a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Theresa Church, 9 E. Parkview Dr., in S.Hadley. Burial will follow at St. Rose de Lima Cemetery in Chicopee. The family wishes to thank Mass Elder Care and Hospice.
