Michelle L. Kowalski

"Belchertown, Michelle L. (Pisano) Kowalski, 52, of Doe Hollow Rd., died Tuesday, February 3 following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Toledo, OH, May 22 1956, she was the daughter of Anthony and Josephine (Peraino) Pisano of Toledo. Michelle received her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Toledo and lived in Columbus for a time. She relocated to Belchertown in 1989 and was a communicant of St. Francis Church here and a former Eucharistic minister. She was an active volunteer in her daughters' school activities; her involvement included the Belchertown Twirlers, March of Dimes and Relay for Life, their team being "The Color Purple". Along with her parents, she will be deeply missed by her husband of 24 years, Richard V. Kowalski, her triplet daughters Joanna, Lisa and Monica, at home, and a brother Anthony, Jr. of Toledo. A Celebration of Life Service will be Friday, February 6 at 7:30 p.m. at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home, 10 Maple St., (Rte 202). A funeral mass will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Church.
