Nancy A. Smith

"Palmer- Nancy Ann Smith, 50, of Palmer passed away October 23, 2016. Born on August 18, 1966 she was the daughter of the late Charles and Elgie (Stearns) Smith. A Palmer resident all her life, she graduated from Pathfinder Technical High School in 1985. Nancy drove a school bus for Palmer Motor Coach for five years, and most recently worked at Marier's Bait Shop. She was known and loved by many. Nancy had a great love for all animals, especially her dogs, Ceta and Mae Mae. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Beth Smith. Nancy leaves behind her fiancé, Tom Collins and his family, Ruth Collins, Mike and Sherry Collins, and Josh Marlow all of Palmer; her sisters, Cheryl MacFadzen of Agawam and Bonnie Malone of Fairfax, VA; her twin brother, Barry Smith of Suffield, CT; her aunt, Mary Hubert of Palmer; her Pepe and dear friend, Russell Marier; and nieces and nephews. A celebrant service will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016 at 10am at Beers and Story Palmer Funeral Home followed by burial in Oak Knoll Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 4-7pm .
