Nicholas Joseph Vassallo

"Belchertown - Nicholas Vassallo of Belchertown died unexpectedly on September 9, 2019. Born in Ware on September 22, 1989, Nick graduated from the Pathfinder electrical program. Nick is survived by his mother Pamela Picard; Grandmama Shirley Avery; grandfather C.A. Ingram; sisters Jennifer Vassallo and Amy Correa.; his better half Amanda Pinette. and her sons Brayden and Cole; nieces and nephews, whom he took great pride in, Tatum, Draike, Korbin, Arianna, Ayva, and Jax; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and his "brothers from another mother Ash Jordan and Max Kaplan. Last but not least, Nick is survived by his favorite person ever, his amazing sister Danielle Ingram, whom he cherished and loved most of all. She never failed to provide him with a coffee or two. She will miss their Karaoke and story time. They spent most of their time laughing to the point of tears, even if she was driving. Anyone who knew them could tell they were best friends. Nick was predeceased by his father Paul Vassallo, brother Damien Deprey, grandfather Wayne Avery, and grandmother Beverly Ingram.Nick's pastimes were fishing with Korbin and Draike and watching movies snuggled up with Arianna and Ayva. He loved first, second, and third dinner. He also had a love of body wash. He loved 90's Country music and also to sing, and even claimed to sound just like Brett Young "In Case You Didn't Know." If you really knew him you knew of his lengthy stories that always started with "One time I was drunk, because I was drinking..." Nick was always there to help out with whatever you needed, like car repair, lawn mowing, party set up, or any handyman repair; however, it was never a quick job with Nick, because it had to be done "right."Nick had a huge heart and loved to make people laugh. He had a knack for selling just about anything. Nick's favorite sayings were: "Who do you think you are?" "What are you going to do?" and most of all, "Do you know who I am?" Nick will be missed by so many. He was outgoing and knew most everyone. There wasn't anywhere he would go where he didn't know someone.Per the family's wishes, there will not be a formal service. Instead there will be a Celebration of His Life on Monday, September 16, 2019 from 2-6 PM at 133 and 1/2 Springfield St. Palmer. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that you pay it forward by buying a coffee for the person behind you, in Nick's memory. One last question he would want to ask: "Did you get your tickets.....to the gun show? Nice!""
