Norma Davida Lofland

Norma D. (Vosburgh) Lofland, 73, of Springfield, MA passed away peacefully at home on February 15, 2026. Norma was born in Springfield then moved to Belchertown, where she lived until she graduated from Westfield State. Norma was an Elementary School teacher for over 30 years. She loved her students. Norma was a volunteer for the Take & Eat Program with St. Francis of Assisi in Belchertown for many years. She loved reading romance novels, shopping and spending time with her family & friends. She is survived by her children Katelyn and Gavin (Stephanie); grandchildren Simon and Carson; brother Bill (Maureen); many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; cousins near and far; and lifelong friends Rob, Ann-Marie, and Cindy. The family would like to thank the staff for Baystate Hospice and Chanda Care for their care and support. Services are as follows: Visitation March 8th 3pm-5pm at Beers & Story Funeral Home in Belchertown, Funeral Mass March 9th 11am at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Belchertown. Burial will take place with her parents at Oak Knoll Cemetery in Palmer.
