Paul H. Gilman

"Granby - Paul H. Gilman, 74, of North St., died on October 13, 2012 at home surrounded by his family. He was born March 15, 1938 in Brewer, ME, son of the late Seth W. and Muriel (Williams) Gilman. Paul was Master Sergeant in the US AirForce, serving at Westover AFB for 30 years. He was a member of the Shriners and a member of the Masons in Maine. Paul enjoyed working on puzzles, visiting friends in LasVegas and most of all spending time with his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 47 years, Wendy (Morgan) Gilman of Granby and four children, Debbie Plante and husband Paul of Heath, Paula Gilman-Robidoux of Feeding Hills, Dale Joaquin of Houston, TX and Paul Gilman II of Indian Orchard. He also leaves two sisters, Susan Bullard and husband Cecil of Dedham, ME, Pamela Hill and husband Eugene of Orrington and brother Stephen Gilman of Bangor. He will be missed by 14 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Seth Gilman II. A Memorial Services will be held at Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m in the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
