Priscilla M. Papineau

"Monson, Priscilla M. (Drew) Papineau, 89, died peacefully on Monday, July 15 at her home in Summerville, SC. Born in Central Falls, RI, May 1, 1924, she lived in Monson for many years before relocating to North Charleston, SC five years ago. Her husband , Ralph A. Papineau died in 1989, and a son Michael in 2012. A devoted mother, she will be deeply missed by her 5 surviving children, Linda Royer of Palmer, Fr. Daniel Papineau of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Janice Gouin of Summerville, SC, David Papineau of N. Charleston, SC, and Christine Porth of Charlton, MA, along with 11 precious grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She also leaves her siblings, Theresa Rita and Gloria Drew of Cumberland, RI, Muriel Archambault of Lincoln, RI and Donald Drew of Melbourne, FL and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be Saturday, July 20 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Church, Ludlow, followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday from 5:00- 7:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N. Main St., (Rte. 20).
