Raymond N. Bushey

"Belchertown – Raymond N. Bushey, 87, of Chauncey Walker St., passed away on December 31, 2007 at Cooley Dickinson Hospital. Born March 1, 1920 in Ware, MA he was the son of the late Paul and Martha (Rousseau) Bushey. Raymond has lived in Belchertown since 1985 and previously resided in E. Springfield. Mr. Bushey was an experimental machinist for Titeflex for 36 years and retired in 1982. Raymond was on the Titeflex golf and bowling leagues and a member of the Men’s Social Club. He was a communicant of St. Francis Church a member of the Springfield Elks Lodge. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Virgil (Bluteau) Bushey a daughter Judith A. Gossman and her husband Stephen of Ludlow and a son Gary J. Bushey of Wakefield, NH. He will also be missed by four grandchildren Leonard and Kimberly Lynch and Cordell and Nicole Bushey and twin great grandchildren Taylor and Alicia Lynch. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 3rd at 9:00 a.m. at St. Francis Church. Burial is at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home.
