Robert M. Brothers

"Three Rivers - Robert M. Brothers, 62, passed away on February 27, 2017. He was born November 18, 1954 in Palmer, MA, son of Leo J. and Elizabeth (Cyr) Brothers - Bisnette. He was raised in Palmer and graduated from Palmer High School in 1972. Robert worked as a sheet metal mechanic for his family business Palmer Heating for many years. He is survived by his step-father Joe Bisnette and his wife Eunice of Palmer, a sister, Leah Bigda and her husband John of Three Rivers, and a brother William Bisnette and his wife Mona of NC. He will also be missed by a special aunt Diane St. Amand and her husband Roger, and many other aunts and uncles. He also leaves three nephews John Bigda, Keith Palmer and Joe Bigda and a great nephew Brad Palmer. The family wishes to extend special thanks to Carol, Liz and Norma nurses at Kindred Transitional Care & Rehab- Country Estates in Agawam for their supportive care of Robert. A calling hour will be held on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 10-11:00 a.m followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. Burial will be held in the spring in St. Thomas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Robert's memory to the Street Team at Boston Health Care for the Homeless.
