Robert W. Graham

"South Hadley, Robert W. Graham, 80, died peacefully at home on February 26. Born in Holyoke on August 5, 1934 he was the son of William and Mary (Grant) Graham. He grew up in Holyoke and was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School. He was a proud Navy Veteran, serving his country during the Korean War. He married the love of his life, Marlene (Dzuris), in 1960, and relocated to South Hadley where they raised their family. He was a communicant of St' Patrick's Church. Robert worked for 25 years at Monsanto before his retirement. He enjoyed time with his family, watching his New England sports teams, a good beer and being the life of the party. He will be sadly missed by his children, William and his wife Linda of S. Hadley, Tammy Sorensen and her husband Keith of Pawcatuck, CT and Robert Lambert and his wife Jill of Henniker, NH along with his grandchildren, Jason, Meagan, Shayna, Sean, Laura, Rob and Lex and great grand children, Brady, Cedar, Reef and soon to be born great granddaughter, Marley. Besides his wife Marlene of 46 years and his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Peter. He also leaves his cat that he affectionately called Yahoo. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, March 4th at 9:00 a.m. at Beers and Story South Hadley Funeral Home, 646 Newton St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church.
