Robert Wawro

"Belchertown - Robert P. Wawro Jr., 56, died on June 16, 2018. Born January 2, 1962 in Palmer, he was the son of Robert Wawro, Sr. of Belchertown and the late Alyce (Baj) Kulig. He worked at various jobs, including landscaping and handyman work. An avid sports fan, he loved NASCAR, the Atlanta Braves and the Phildelphia Eagles. He also loved fishing at his favorite spot along the Swift River and enjoyed sitting by his wood stove with family and friends enjoying a cold beer. He was kindhearted and always willing to help others. He had pet names for all of his friends and family, especially his nieces and nephews. He shared a dog, James Bentley, with his niece Mary. He will be deeply missed by many. He leaves a daughter, Tiffany Wawro of Webster, and her son Callen, along with his 8 siblings, Frances Bigos (John) and Genevieve Lamb (Stanley) of Palmer, Jane Ricci (Gary) of Brimfield, Lori Skowronek (Mike) and Chris Spellman (Tom) all of Belchertown, Patti Beauregard of Ludlow, Frank Wawro (Heather) of Ware, and Andrew Wawro of Palmer, along with several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Sunday, June 24 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story PALMER Funeral Home, 1475 N.
