Roger J. Sullivan

"Brimfield - Roger J. Sullivan, 92, of Paige Hill Road, died on February 22, 2014 at home, with his loving family by his side. He was born July 4, 1921 in Ware, MA, son of the late Cornelius and Alice (Couture) Sullivan. He proudly served his country in the US Navy during WWII. Roger worked as a Foreman for Warren Pump for 40 years. He was a communicant of St. Christopher's Church and served as the financial secretary of the K of C there, for many years. Roger was a Civil War buff, he also enjoyed gardening, listening to music, and swimming in his daughters' pools. He is survived by five children and their families, Richard Sullivan of Brimfield, Kathleen Kenyon and Doug of Brimfield, Christine Sullivan and Ken Halpin of Grafton, Maureen Sullivan and Michael of Sterling, and Donna McDonald and Bruce of Westborough. Roger was devoted to his thirteen beautiful grandchildren. He also leaves three brothers John Sullivan of CO, Donald Sullivan and Richard Sullivan of Brimfield, and a sister Patty Dubay of Berwick, ME. In 2012, Roger was preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary (Saccucci). Calling hours will be held Monday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Funeral Home in Palmer, MA. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St Christopher's Parish in Brimfield, interment service to be held at a later date.
