Rose M. Clough

"Rose M. (Siegel) Clough, 92, formerly of Monson, died peacefully on May 15, 2015 in E. Longmeadow. Born in Palmer, September 5, 1922, she was the daughter of Felix and Katherine (Grela) Siegel. She lived in Palmer and Monson for most of her life and had worked at FW Woolworth and Durand Sisters for many years. In her leisure, she enjoyed gardening and belonged to a Square Dance Club. Besides her parents, and ten siblings, her husband Richard preceded her in death in 1982, and her son, Robert in 2008. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Donna Opper and husband Richard of Palmer. Her sisters Alice Smith of Palmer and Shirley Moore of Brimfield also survive her. She also leaves 5 precious grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson, along with many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Thursday, May 21st at 10 a.m. at Oak Knoll Cemetery. A Memorial Service will follow the burial at Second Congregational Church in Palmer at 11 a.m. with collation immediately following.
