Ruth M. Dexter

"Ruth M. Dexter , 80, of Warren Wright Rd. died on July 25, 2014 with her family by her side. She was born January 10, 1934 in Belchertown, MA, daughter of Millard L. and Dorothy B. (Thompson) Cleveland. In addition to raising her family, Ruth worked as a housekeeper for many years. Some of Ruth's passions in life were bowling, poodles, sewing, and camping with her family. Ruth and her husband Richard traveled camping across the lower 48 states. Surviving are her husband, Richard Dexter of Belchertown, children, Regina Wright of Belchertown, Marlene Rule and her husband Robert, of Shutesbury, Deanna Wiseman of Ludlow, and Richard Dexter II and his wife Susan, of Belchertown. Ruth will also be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Brendon Rule, Jessica Brown, Kimberly Lamica, Jeff Haughey, and Nicole, CJ and Maddison Dexter, as well as her great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Hailey, Brookelynn and Olivia Lamica, and Jacob Haughey. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and her 3 sisters and 1 brother. Calling hours will be Tuesday, July 29 from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home.
