Shirley M. Hews

"Belchertown- Shirley Mae (Carlton) Hews, 72, of Jabish St., passed away December 12, 2006 at Mary Lane Hospital. Born September 18, 1934 in Perham, ME, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mona (Woodman) Carlton. Shirley has been living in Belchertown for the past 40 years, previously residing in Maine. She is survived by her husband Roger, a son Larry of Chicopee, a daughter Cathy Hews of Los Angeles, CA and two grandchildren Stephanie and Stephen Hews. She also leaves dear friends Keith McHaffie of Belchertown and Gregory Smith of New York City. A graveside service will be Thursday December 14, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at South Cemetery. Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. "
