Stella T. Maestrone

"Palmer - Stella T. Maestrone, 93, of Circle Dr. died on September 1, 2010 at Redstone Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born November 10, 1916, daughter of the late Frank and Victoria (Barch) Wronski. She has lived in Palmer since 1991, previously residing in E.Longmeadow. Stella was a member of the ITM Veterans Auxiliary in East Longmeadow along with being a part of St. Thomas the Apostle Church. She will be missed by her son, Eugene Maestrone and his wife Joan of E.Longmeadow, her daughter, Joanne Lemanski and her husband Alexander of Palmer, MA along with a sister Jessie Walsh of Osterville, MA. She also leaves 4 grandchildren, Michael and Susan Lemanski, Anthony and Joseph Maestrone, along with 6 great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Benjamin and Katherine Lemanski, Alexandra, Nathaniel and Nicholas Konkel. Stella was preceded in death by her husband Joseph in 1988. Services will be held Friday Sept. 10th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Park Cemetery in Springfield. Calling hours will precede the mass from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home on Friday.
